Duties:
- The audiology support technician will interact with audiologists and patients, maintain accurate charting, schedule appointments, triage phone calls, and perform other tasks related to efficient dispensing of hearing health care in the office setting.
- Performing assistance during audiological evaluations.
- Performing the technical component of hearing screenings per provided protocol.
- Troubleshooting hearing technology devices, recommending repairs, and drafting requests for authorization of parts and repairs.
- Maintaining organization and recording of hearing technology equipment.
- Maintaining organization of clinical equipment and toys, clinical and research files and records.
To qualify, you must meet the following minimum requirements: - High school diploma or GED, prefer an AAS in Hearing Instrument Specialist
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales, and problem solving skills.
- Strong keyboard/computer/Audiology diagnostic and hearing aid software and equipment experience
- Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadline.
- Requires the ability to deal with numerous interruptions.
- Must deal with customers in a caring and respectful manner

We will consider part or full-time for this position. Part-time would be at least 25 hours a week based upon the needs of the practice. A competitive hourly rate and other benefits are offered for full-time.
